Immersion
Immersion happened after a time spent exploring the coral reefs in Australia. The intensity of colour and motion of the sea found its way into this work. While the variety of texture found and forms of coral imbedded themselves into a lot of sketches and memory.
Meander
This piece was painted alongside “Within Silence” and unintentionally it continued the referencing of a place to go and be within. We have places where the stillness keeps us safe and can hold us in our lives. A safe place, a haven. While we meander this life.

2026 Aspiring art prize finalist
This work is a search for a place to be. A response to a special place that brings solace and pause. We all have, or long for, somewhere we can go to feel safe and serene. Sometimes we dream it before we find it.
When we finally arrive, it’s less like arriving and more like remembering.
