PAINT CLUB - Posca + Paint = Patterns

Kids have a "superpower", which we sadly loose as we get older. The unlearned, expressive marks of a child are what most abstract artists strive for. Kids have it naturally. I want to show children this superpower is important to keep hold of. 

In this class we will be exploring a journey for the day and transforming that journey into an abstract piece of collaged artwork. 

Along the way, we will be observing the textures materials can make, shapes and forms, compositions and how they sit, and the intuitive guidance of the children.

Kids will need to be confident with Scissors.

What do you get.....

A small intimate class of 4, to enable a calmer environment where I can ensure enough time with each child to guide and encourage.

To play with Inks, Acrylics, Brushes, Posca Pens, Pencils, Charcoal, and a piece of art full of colour, emotion, movement, imagination.

Activities to tap into your sensory abilities, to help understand the basis of abstraction work. 

An environment of creativity, with music and essential oils diffused throughout the class. 

Observations of patterns, understanding of mark making, & intuitive guidance.

Water and small snack provided. However bring your own is welcome.

What to bring.......

Painting clothes essential,  & open minds and hearts.

Parents are welcome to stay or drop off. Please advise when booking or my email if there is any special circumstances for your child. ie allergies

Snacks if needed.

As part of the sensory learning and activities, we will be playing music and diffusing essential oils in the room.
